** SIMECENTER
More new stories and art await you at the SimeCenter.
---
The featured recipient this month is again
the Arrowhead Drop-In Centre.
Donate to this worthy organization, in return for enjoying the excellent stories and artwork our contributors have donated. Don't forget to tell them that you were 'referred' by SimeCenter.
---
This month's story is "Witch Fulfillment", by our own Jean Lorrah (The title tells it all!)
This story is just plain fun! To quote from the introduction by Susan Schwartz: One of Jean's most striking personal qualities is her sense of humor. She finds great pleasure, in puns and parodies. I think you will find that "Witch Fulfillment" is a Puckish blend of magic, romance, and humor . . . as well as a parody of the myth of a bargain with the devil. Try it, you'll like it.
---
In the Art department, we have another magnificent fantasy landscape by Geoffrey B. Chew, who has contributed beautiful and fanciful artwork for several editions of SimeCenter. This one is called "Warpville."
Being the couth person he is, our contributing artist works on a Macintosh. Thus, some of his work may not display to its greatest advantage on a PC.
"This particular piece looks good on both Mac and PC...but if you want a lighter copy for your PC, contact me at charities@simegen.com...I'll make a PC version if anyone asks."
---
Please visit SimeCenter
to enjoy these offerings, and make donations to our recipient.
---
We have some other contributions already submitted for Arrowhead, so it will be up for several more months. Nevertheless, as always... Please help us find new individual recipients...and get back to the real purpose of SimeCenter. (Visit "Recipient Qualifications" while you're at the site, to see the kind of person we want to help, and ponder if there's someone you know who would be a good candidate.)
Also, if you know of others who are--or should be--interested in SimeCenter, please send them to: http://www.simegen.com/mailman/listinfo/simecenter-l to subscribe to our newsletter.
** CALL FOR NEW MYSTERY AUTHORS
Steve Miller (readingbear@EARTHLINK.NET), who does a column in MYSTERY NEWS, a bimonthly publication from Black Raven Press, is interested in hearing from authors whose first full-length crime fiction or mystery novel will be published in 2003. His column, "In the Beginning" profiles new writers in each issue of MYSTERY NEWS. Past subjects have included I. J. Parker, Betty Webb, Gabriel Cohen and Libby Hellman, among others. He is looking for new authors to profile, particularly in the second half of the year.
** BYGONE DAYS
BYGONE DAYS is an e-zine of historical fiction, articles, novel excerpts, book and movie reviews open to all historical sub-genres. Manuscripts should be well crafted and, most importantly, original with historical emphasis. With the exception of novel excerpts, previously published works are accepted. Submissions are not to exceed 10,000 words. If over 10,000 words, please query first.

The Health Shop
now has a cold weather mask that warms your breath. It comes in both active and spectator models. Please mention that you were referred by tikkun@simegen.com.
We are also now linked to Learning Strategies. If you have been thinking about buying Photo Reading or their Spring Forest Chi Gong series, please order through the health shop.
You can also get two free e-books in the shop. They are THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH by Wallace Wattles and AS A MAN THINKETH by James Allen. Both of these books are in the public domain but the folks who did the work of creating PDF files would like your e-mail address in trade for the free e-books. You can get off their lists any time after you download the books at http://www.simegen.com/marketplace/health/shop . The authors of these books feel that being rich is necessary for the full enjoyment of life and that anyone can do it by following their instructions. These books cost $12 at Amazon. Sime~Gen has become an affiliate of scienceofgettingrich.net. To buy audiotapes or take a class with them, please sign up through the link at http://www.simegen.com/marketplace/health/shop .
If there is anything you want to buy that is a health item, please see if we can get it in the health shop. Just write me and let me know what the item is.
