proprietary ISP. Net access is all that's necessary. BUT you must sign up separately for the WorldCrafters-l NEWSLETTER .

IRC chat.
You will be given directions for

You will be given Assignments via the Workshop page and/or Online Lessons. Assignments

assignments will be posted to a passworded URL available only to students who register for
a course by turning in the first Assignment for that course and to our Professional
writers. Teachers will post their commentary on the student's work on a passworded
bulletin board which no students may post to -- and all students may read. To
participate FULLY you must subscribe to the NL WorldCrafters-L -- but if you can't, you
will garner at least 80% of the benefit of taking the course by monitoring the cluster of
websites under www.simegen.com/school/
and doing the assignments for yourself -- taking the tests posted online -- at your own
pace.
* How is this school
supported? Students pay their tuition fees by licensing us use of their words (a
deal such as a book publisher would offer -- you own the copyright, and we license certain
rights for a specified period). Thus by Registering in this school and
completing the Student
Contract, a student effectively becomes a professional writer while maintaining
amateur status for entering contests
etc. because no actual money changes hands. Thus all student submissions are
legally warranted by the student to be completely original -- work they own and are
entitled to license.
** If
you are a Professional Fiction writer who would like to teach in this school, see our Teacher's Contract and
email us.
- When you're finished, be sure to read and bookmark the Student
Handbook which contains the information on how to function on this
virtual campus.
- Notice also that on the Student Contract form you
have a chance to adopt a PEN NAME for all student work to be posted on the WorldCrafters
Guild sites, -- so you won't have to be embarrassed about your student efforts once
you are selling novels or other work.

Note: most
live events will be held between 9AM to 3PM, weekdays or Sundays, EDT (USA) and logs will
be posted to the Web for those who can't make it. Subsequent classes, lectures, and
seminars may be held at other times, or by arrangment.
Fill out this
Worldcrafter's Guild Registration Form.

Contact the webmaster of this page simegen@simegen.com
if the form doesn't work -- or of Sime~Gen
Inc. if anything else is wrong.
