INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Then go to the drop down menu next to the word channel click on #vampchat for the author chat. Then hit connect.
2.Since I don't currently have a chat moderator the chats will not be moderated but I ask that you give common curtesy when in the chat rooms.
If you would like to have the second window to hold any side discussion then you just go the the drop down list again and pick the #vamptalk. Then hit connect this will open a second window.
3. In AOL 4.0 or 5.0 -- click on the tool bar at the top of your screen MY AOL, then click Preferences, WWW, Security, Custom..... scroll down the Custom screen to Microsoft VM, and under that JAVA PERMISSIONS, set to LOW SECURITY (that's what I use, not sure whether MEDIUM would work for our pages) You can switch it back when you're not in our chatroom. But it's better to get a good ANTI-VIRUS software such as Norton or MacAffee (however they spell it) which protects from all sorts of other things.
