At this writing, we expect that the print HC and TP versions will be rescheduled for July 2005 by Meisha Merlin(tm) Publishing Inc. Watch this newsletter or simegen-l for news updates on the schedule, or pre-order from amazon.com.
The stand-alone HOUSE OF ZEOR e-book from embiid.com is still scheduled for July 2004.

****** KRAITH COLLECTED NOW AVAILABLE FOR FREE READING
The first of five volumes of Kraith Collected containing the Star Trek: The Original Series (ST:ToS) stories written by about 50 people over a period of years, set in an alternate universe designed by Jacqueline Lichtenberg is available for you to read.
This is the body of work that formed the basis of the research for Lichtenberg's Bantam paperback, Star Trek Lives! and the Star Trek Welcommittee. It was designed after cancellation of the show and years before the animated version that preceded the first feature film. Some have seen Kraith story elements echoed in the Feature Films and others have reported seeing Kraith Collected volumes around the production offices. If this is true, it is a tribute not a breach of writer etiquette.
There is a discussion list that you may join to talk about these stories. And the fanzine distributor Agent with Style has begun to make these volumes available on paper again.
There is a chance that Kraith and Jacqueline Lichtenberg may be mentioned in the 2004 film Trekkies Two . Her photo is on the film's website as interviewed in Los Angeles, holding a copy of her nonfiction Bantam paperback, STAR TREK LIVES!

Mary Taffs, a supernatural romance author, passed away on April 21st, suddenly and unexpectedly. HEALING MAGICK, part of a series of books with an intricate background, had just recently been released. Awe-Struck books, (who will release her last book a contemporary romance titled A MATTER OF TRUST) in September, is one of the top e-book publishers and was a big part of Maryıs life. Mary will be greatly missed.

The spotlights section of Simegen.com currently needs interviewers, spotlight posting personnel, an assistant spotlights gatemaster, and a keygifts store manager. We are also requesting an Assistant Reviews Co-coordinator - duties include covering when other staff are unable to perform tasks. We are almost finished revamping our reviews section and expect activity to be at a constant high level. We're looking for a versatile quick learner able to put in some time daily. Pluses are good command of the English language (syntax, grammar, punctuation, in that order,) some computer experience or ability to learn, and an interest in books.
