** NEW PUBLICATIONS
This spring I will have three vampire stories coming out as audio books, available for MP3 streaming from the Web for free. See http://www.simegen.com/writers/audio/ for information. There will be other audio-book news later.

In March or April, two of Jacqueline Lichtenberg's books will be available from Wildside Press and on amazon.com and brick-n-mortar stores -- MOLT BROTHER and CITY OF A MILLION LEGENDS. Information . Plans are for hardcover, trade paperback and e-book availability. The titles aren't up on the wildsidepress.com website yet, but http://www.simegen.com/jl/ has been added to the wildside webring.

Meisha Merlin plans to have the first Sime~Gen Omnibus available by the first week in July. It can already be pre-ordered at the publisher's website . Information is at http://www.simegen.com/writers/simegen/

Later, Jean Lorrah's award winning novel BLOOD WILL TELL will be out in hardcover and trade paperback from Ben Bella Books. Its cover is already up on the web at http://www.benbellabooks.com . Information at http://www.simegen.com/writers/bloodwilltell/ .

Ben Bella Books has also picked up Jean's Savage Empire novels. Winston Howlett, one of our resident professional writers, will be authoring or co-authoring new novels in that series. Watch for the launch of the new Savage Empire website with all the information on that series.

Toward the end of 2003, Ben Bella Books will release Jacqueline Lichtenberg's novel THOSE OF MY BLOOD - in Trade Paperback and probably HC too. Information: http://www.simegen.com/writers/luren/ (Luren is what the vampires call themselves in this Vampire Romance). Ben Bella likewise has an option on the other novel in the Luren Universe -- DREAMSPY.

** NEW APPOINTMENT
Linda Nelson is taking the position of Administrative Reviews Assistant/Department Secretary.

Everybody please give her a hearty thank you. She's already doing a lot of work for Sime~Gen but seems to be a glutton for punishment.

** AWARD
Jean Lorrah's BLOOD WILL TELL has won Best Paranormal in the LORIES contest sponsored by From the Heart chapter of Romance Writers of America.

** WESTERCON WRITING WORKSHOP
The first week in July - coinciding with the release of the first Sime~Gen Omnibus by Meisha Merlin - Jean Lorrah and Jacqueline Lichtenberg will be teaching an in-person writing workshop on the Business of Writing, sponsored by Westercon (one of the major SF/F Regional Conventions) in Seattle, Washington. Westercon membership is extra.
