Darkover Grand Council Meeting --
The convention for fans of Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover novels. This was also the annual meeting of Sime~Gen fans. Star Trek was always a big topic, too. For years, the Darkover convention was held in the same hotel as Shore Leave, but in November. Jacqueline Lichtenberg's Star Trek fanzine stories Kraith are based on adding Darkover to Star Trek.
Fans created a Faith Day celebration based on a holiday created by Jacqueline Lichtenberg for the Sime~Gen Universe novels. These were (and are) held at Darkover Grand Council Meeting every year and attended even by people who have not read Sime~Gen.
