Spokes
We are happy to present the tenth edition of Spokes.
Our tenth edition includes poems by addison, Graham Badley, Jeff
Bell, Lana Bella, Richard Berengarten, Nick Burbridge, Stephen Philip
Druce, Robert Ferns, Steve De France, Richard Hughes, Jim Newcombe,
John D. Robinson, and Mark Rutter; prose by Curtis Tappenden; and
artwork by Curtis Tappenden.
Spokes is an international poetry e-zine that welcomes poetry,
short fictional prose and images of all kinds - with a particular
interest in the culturally engaged and the fantastic. Spokes
is 'published' twice yearly.
In its past incarnation as an international poetry magazine, Spokes
published poetry by Benjamin Zephaniah, Jean Binta Breeze, Dannie
Abse, Peter Porter, John James, Shanta Acharya and many many more.
Alistair Wisker and Gina Wisker were its co-editors for the last 12
years or so. It is now edited by Gina Wisker and Michelle Bernard.
Submission Guidelines

and decide your work would not fit the style.

If you submit material to us, YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO WAIT AT LEAST 3-4 MONTHS FOR A REPLY. We apologise in advance for this and thank you for your patience. We like to read submissions carefully. Keep a record of exactly what you have sent and when.
We only accept electronic submissions Please submit text in Word or PDF format only. Please submit images in JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF format only. You may submit your work via e-mail or, for larger pieces exceeding 1Mb, please send a CD-ROM containing your submission to our postal address below.
Spokes does not accept erotic or pornographic work, unless
it is clearly essential in terms of the cultural engagement or the
exploration of the fantastic. Please note that we do not publish non-fiction
articles, essays, interviews, memoirs or biography. We also do not
accept unsolicited reviews and are not looking for new reviewers.
We regret that we are unable to offer any financial remuneration or feedback on your work or enter into any correspondence about rejected work.
