From what I was able to read the story is about women and the trials they go through in life. I found that regrettably I was unable to finish this book.

The story is about Tasha, Ashon and Tracy. Mainly Tracy and the emotional armor the three have had to build up against men. The story and the relationship between the friends drew me in instantly.

However, there was such an overabundance of slang that I couldn’t get beyond it. The character’s over use of street slang was to the point it was hard to keep up with the characters stories. This is the one and only hindrance I found. But it was such a large one that I was unable to continue with the story.

I would definitely try other books by this author due to the fact that the story seemed one I would have liked if not for the over use of slang.
