Fiction section restocked! Look for the Nov 21 - Star Trek related material added to the Sime~Gen book site - regarding the effect of 25 years of the Star Trek Convention Shore Leave on Sime~Gen and related works. Jean Lorrah and Jacqueline Lichtenberg were invited to contribute to the 25th anniversary Program Book for Shore Leave, and the article we produced is too long. Read it here. Nov 20 - An exciting new artwork and story await you at the SimeCenter. Here you can read professional stories, and help out a worthy cause while you're at it. In fact SimeCenter is always looking for new worthy causes. If you know of one, please check out our Sime Center. Nov 19 Keybooks Nonfiction shelves stocked today with selections chosen for plot and characterization ideas, and gift book potential. See new items in Astrology, Computer, Occultism, Philosophy, Self-help and Writing, and a new Music shelf, Progressive Rock - Over the next few days you will see 8 new bookshelves go up in Keybooks with a very wide range of material, ideas and plot constructs. 2 of them are open now - Progressive Rock, and Star Trek nonfiction. Nov 18 -- Susan H. Bartlett the writer has taken over stocking the classical music shelf in Keybooks. On the left, click Nonfiction -- then click Classical Music. Enjoy. Nov. 14 - New Section in Keybooks Bookstore -- In the Nonfiction section (click on the left) Occult and Mysticism -- this section is designed to support and elaborate on the article Jacqueline Lichtenberg has in the forthcoming book of articles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer by established sf/f professional writers. And the Astrology shelf has been restocked. All of these books are chosen because they are chock full of plotting ideas. November 11 - NEW LOOK for all our top pages has now been applied to Jacqueline Lichtenberg's home page, index to all new and forthcoming projects which has now been updated. Midnight Reviews is now officially an all genre reviews column. While I am still a major vampire fan and will still be reviewing vampire books, I will also be reviewing all genres of books as well. November 4 - Marketplace updated to include a bargain on wireless networking equipment. A classical music enthusiast is about to take over the Classical Music shelf in Keybooks non-fiction -- music to write by is of course the theme. September 8 - Sime~Gen New Books website has won an award from a search engine as a HOT SITE for September 20th. August 30 -- MEDIA EVENT: Jean Lorrah and Jacqueline Lichtenberg will be signing the final contracts in the 11 novel, plus new original short stories, 6 volume deal for Sime~Gen with Meisha Merlin Inc. at the World Science Fiction Convention - ConJose - 1PM at the Meisha Merlin table in the Dealer's Room. Convention membership required to attend. Press credentials available at press@conjose.org or go to the press room at the convention. At 8PM Friday Aug. 30 there will be a Sime~Gen Party in the Fairmont Hotel - check the party board or ask people in the halls. Convention Membership not required.
