The first book in the Wildcard series, Wildfire features a very
sexy cowboy by the name of Jake Reynolds and an independent ranch
owner named, Dean 'Dee" Macleod.
It
has been ten long years since Jake had left her,but Dean has never
been able to forget him. Known by the ranch hands as "the
ice queen" Dee has only felt true desire for one man. Terribly
hurt by his leaving, Dean has determined to never let a man get
that close again.
But
Jake has other ideas. Knowing he made the biggest mistake of his
life, by leaving Dee, Jake has returned with only one thought
on his mind, claiming his woman.

McCray has written a gem of a book, the reader is drawn into Dee's
conflict, but is behind Jakes attempts to woo back his woman.
The story is full of sexual tension as Jake is determined to prove
that he has more to offer than just great sex, but in the end,
he proves both. There is a wonderful restaurant scene, which in
this reviewers opinion, proves that the woman always comes out
on top. I'll leave the rest to the readers imagination.
In
this reviewers opinion, Wildfire is the first book in a wonderful
series, featuring some very sexy cowboys, who definitely know
how to wear their wranglers. Ride, don't walk to Ellorascave to
buy this book, as I am sure that you will enjoy this book as much
as I did.
