MACK Tactics : The Science
of Seduction Meets the Art of Hostage Negotiation
This is a book that both men and women are raving about -- how to
communicate in a dating situation without compromising your position of
strength.
If you're a writer having trouble creating believable dialogue, study
this book. You might possibly find it at the library, but I think
you'll want to make marginal notes and plaster it with post-its for use in
your novel.
Perfect gift for someone trying to break into the Romance writing field.
Here is one of those non-fiction books replete with the core conflicts

crazy -- and isn't that the recipe for every dynamite, hot-sexy romance
novel you've read lately?
Read this book. Write a novel of your own -- or rewrite your own
life. Or at least click the title at the left and read the reviews
online. That won't cost any money.

Eker gives live seminars in changing your money profile, and so does not
provide the core of his advice in this book -- how to change

This book and the others listed on the same page at
Amazon could easily be the key for a writer who just can't find time to
write!
But I think all the books on this page are of interest
to writers because they give you clues about how to differentiate
your characters from one another.
Take characters who have the problem the book focuses
on -- take them through a series of adventures that pounds the solution
the book suggests into their heads, -- see where they come out in their
lives. Make a drama out of this personal journey of transformation.
The Power of Full Engagement: Managing Energy, Not Time,
is the Key to High Performance and Personal Renewal
by Jim Loehr, Tony Schwartz
Here's another in the long LONG list of stories about researchers who
discover something revolutionary and true -- only to have their
reputations smeared by their colleagues. Think of the drama of
BEING in that position.
"There is a revolution brewing in our
understanding not only of heart disease, but of all the degenerative
diseases of aging. The Harvard-trained physician and researcher behind one
of the major medical and scientific breakthroughs of this century, Kilmer
S. McCully, tells his story of medical discovery and, challenging the
popular lipid theory of arteriosclerosis, explains why our vitamin
B-depleted food supply may be the real culprit behind the epidemic of
heart disease" ... more

I knew Joel Davis many years ago. We recently made a new contact and
he sent me a copy of this book about how he trained his dog to alert him
to impending epileptic siezures.
It's like something out of an Andre Norton novel -- this animal is real
(and one of those cute creatures like Porthos on Star Trek:
Enterprise).
Even if you don't know anyone who has need of such an assistant in
life, you will find many novel ideas in this book. See it on
amazon.
A friend told me about this book while we
were discussing the Atkins diet that is so successful for so many
people.
I checked it out on Amazon and found a new edition with an updated
questionaire to determine your body-type and thus what to emphasize in
your diet to improve your general health (and incidentally
weight).
There is a discussion of how the older book made it less easy to
determine your body type and how he updated the questionnaire and the
instructions.
Some people find this one too much of a lifestyle change - others
find that it fits and works better than Atkins. This works often
where Atkins fails. Read about this book and see if you want
it.

verisimilitude to your dialogue.
