Stargate SG-1 -- A great
original sf series based on a film,
broadcast on scifi channel.
Westerns that aren't totally just merely
Westerns.

Every few months a new version of the addresses and phone numbers of
Hollywood professionals is released. Here is one for 2007 -- and you

This
is another of my all-time favorite TV shows. Gene Roddenberry
wrote some of the episodes. He first met Leonard Nimoy in this
show, or in First Lieutenant.
Here is an educated gentleman living in San Francisco when the
Chinese community was first growing because of the labor to build the
railroads. He is uniquely lacking in prejudice.
His card reads "Have Gun, Will Travel" -- he's a hired
gun. But he has a very stringent ethical code. He's a little
like the Lone Ranger -- which is of course why I love this show.
It's the ethics and philosophy that turns me on.
Watch for some fabulous discounts and there are
already some used copies.
One of my
all-time favorite TV shows now on DVD. This show is one of the
earliest "mixed-genre" shows -- (like Buffy). It's about
a martial arts student who is Caucasion/Chinese halfbreed -- who kills
the Chinese Emperor's nephew and flees to America's old west where he
wanders (follows the Dhao) in search of his father's brother.
I consider this science fiction of the first order! The scripts
were top notch. The show was so good it was actually revived as
Kung Fu: The Legend Continues which was likewise fabulous.
But magnificent discounts available and supersaver shipping
too.
See more about it on www.tvtome.com
where many shows are featured, explained and cataloged by
fans.
And seasons 2,
3,
4,
and 5
are available. This show has a strong story-arc and is hard to
find broadcast if you don't have the sci-fi channel. It is
however, really great sf.
If you're a fan of Stargate:
Atlantis and haven't read up on Atlantis speculations by top scholars,
you might want to read the reviews of books like Survivors
of Atlantis.
I absolutely adore the rewrite of history the Stargate folks have
produced. It reminds me very much of my all-time favorite series, The
Lensman Series by E. E. Smith.

A hip fan knows that when it comes to
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the dialogue is as entertaining as the action.
Buffy-speak is a unique, pop-culture savvy creation that's as much fun
to read as it is to hear.
Collected here in one complete volume is the exciting conclusion
to Season One. These six scripts track the conclusion of Buffy's first
year as a Sunnydale resident-including the revelation of Angel's true
nature, Willow's disastrous first relationship, and the manifestations
of the gang's most terrifying dreams, as well as the dramatic season
finale featuring Buffy's historic, prophesized showdown with the Master
and her (brief) death. Best of all, these scripts represent the most
complete source for the writers' and creators' vision-with production
notes, dialogue, and scenes that never made it to the television screen.
Study the movie that started the Buffy
franchise -- and maybe you will know how to market your own
idea.
