Having trouble writing convincing bed scenes? Read this

I do not recommend writers "cast a chart"
for their characters -- however, one of the big problems with
"Romance Novels" in general is how unbelievable or
unrealistic they seem. "What does she see in him?"
is the key question -- but also "Why?" does she see
it.
If you have a beginner's knowledge of astrology and
want to write Romance, get this book and work with the CD that comes
with it. Train your subconscious to create relationship
patterns that people can recognize rather than project your personal
biases which readers can't relate to.

Martin Shulman is one of my favorite astrology writers. His
book SOLVE the plot problems I manage to get myself into.
Here's one that gives you profiles of characters and their ways of
handling their sexuality. This is an essential book in the
Romance writer's library.

Charting
Your Spiritual Path With Astrology
by Stephanie Jean Clement
List Price:
$14.95
I couldn't find any bad or
unsound advice in this book, but it didn't seem profound to me
either. I'd suggest it for beginners on all paths, or for writers
looking for plot ideas.

Astrology
of Intimacy Sexuality and Relationship: Insights to Wholeness
by Noel Tyl
I haven't read this one yet, but knowing Tyl's background,
I suspect it will have some good insights.
I haven't decided what I think about this new format of
oddly square shaped books. They're as tall as a hardcover, but
wider so they hang off the shelf.

|
This hard to find PRIMARY reference book for interpreting natal charts
through time is one of my favorites, and well worth the hardcover price -
because the paperback won't stand up to repeated referencing. This
one is FULL of great plots.

special promotional prices - so check out this deal.

The Fixed Stars are
of interest when a natal planet is in strong aspect. It has
been found experimentally and empiracally that these stars color or
influence the way a natal planet will function in a person's
life.
If you can grasp
the underlying principle, you will find it of amazing use in solving
plot problems or breaking writer's block.

If you're interested in how astrology can give us clues to the
ideosyncratic aspects of health and the relationship between a
satisfactory job/career life and bodily health, you really should
have this book.
Noel Tyl's book below on the timing of critical illness uses the
Quindecile aspect.
If you don't know enough about astrology to understand aspects
and natal charts, stockpile this book for later when you do.
You won't regret it.

Heaven
Knows What does not just show you how to cast a natal chart
-- you can do that free
on the internet in a jiffy -- it shows you how to interpret a
chart.
The usual cookbook chart interpreting books give you the meaning
of one aspect at a time, ignoring the interactions. Lewi shows
you how the presence of OTHER aspects alters the meaning of individual
aspects -- how a chart is an integrated whole, not a series of
isolated aspects. |
THIS IS A PAIR OF BEGINNER'S BOOKS THAT GO TOGETHER.

If you are a writing student, are convinced that there's nothing of
value in astrology and it's just a laughable party game or a con-artist's
gold-mine, buy Astrology for the Millions along with Heaven Knows What, it's
companion volume, follow the simple directions for sketching charts of
yourself, and some of your family members you know very well.
Then do the same for a few of your characters. THEN decide if
astrology has any use for you, and perhaps get the Basil Fearrington title to
begin a serious study of astrology as a writer's tool. |
If you're a beginner in Astrology, you need this
book.
Asked to teach a seminar on Medical Astrology, I (Jacqueline Lichtenberg) immediately yanked out my copies of Noel Tyl's
books which cover how to analyze a natal chart for the individual's
anxieties, developmental deficit, and the timing of their challenges by
critical illnesses.
In 10 minutes, I had enough material to fill a three day
seminar, but I'd been given only three hours, maximum. So I
decided to post links and clues here so students could continue from the
end of my seminar.
Searching amazon.com for "Noel Tyl" (in the
black&white amazon.com search box below) brought me to the book on
your right, by one of Noel Tyl's foremost students, Basil
Fearrington. |

The Noel Tyl approach is to modernize astrology by correlating
and interpreting the Ancient Wisdom in terms of what modern science has
discovered about the human psyche, personality development, and the scars left
by even the most benign upbringing. In the Tyl approach, nature, nurture
and karma come together into a picture of the whole person, and the wholeness
of Life.
