I read your Bikel guest book entry and thought I'd write to follow-up.
I have entered a review for his book (I own 3 copies of the original
hard copy) and one new updated one. I have been using his guest
book for several years to encourage folks to write to Rhino Records in
a grass roots campaign to get his music re-released on CD.
At long last, they have done it. I am trying to publicize the
availability of his new CD called A Treasury of Yiddush Theater and
Folk Song now available only on a Rhino web site. It's at
www.Rhinohandmade.com I am hoping that we can preserve his
music by showing Rhino we are interested in buying his music and that
there is enough profit in it for them to give them an appetite to do
more.
I hope you can give some thought about publicizing that also. I
am so glad you made the suggestion about writing reviews for the book.
Any other thoughts?
