Haunted Castles

Not all tales of hauntings are scary like in the movies.  Sometimes people hear a song being sung by a window when nobody is there.  Sometimes people see a man or woman in old-time clothes walk through a closed and locked door. Sometimes it's a feeling of cold, or a sense that somebody is in a room who can't be seen.  Hauntings are much like Nessie.  Many people have seen or heard or felt them, but nobody has figured out a way to prove the truth of them.

Scotland has many haunted castles. The picture above is Culzean Castle, which is said to have two ghosts one of whom plays the pipes.
