RESPONSIBILITIES: Research topics, interview experts and representatives for the purpose of writing pamphlets, writing and production of instructional and inter-company videos.

INTERN AT FOX TELEVISION (Midday Live with Bill Boggs)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Screening segment proposals, handling Green Room, pre-interviews of guests, researching subjects for presentation, writing host's questions, participation in production meetings, location scouting, completion of waivers, arranging guest transportation.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Produced the highest rated segment ever achieved on the show about the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game controversy and its alleged effect in suicides and murders.

1979 to 1985
NEWSPAPER COLUMNIST, FEATURE WRITER AND COPYEDITOR, GANNET NEWSPAPERS
Major projects: Development, research and writing of the weekly column Helpline, profiling local volunteer organizations and efforts, (many times dealing with social and health oriented issues); Development, research and writing of the series The New Immigrants, interviews with new citizens, discussing the problems in their old countries, why they left, why they came here, the differences in what they expected and what they found, what contributions they are making to the American melting pot.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Copyediting of national daily columns, entertainment section and local organization information columns. Liaison with local volunteer and social organizations and reporter on their activities. Contributing editor to feature columns. Reporter and photographer on special projects.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Helpline column was most highly read just behind Anne Landers, columns received national recognition in several contests.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Media Award of New York State Cancer Society for Excellence in Communication; Documentary on facial disfigurement shown at the National Conference of the Facially Disfigured in Washington, DC Esotericon: development, management and administration of international seminar on occult traditions.
