Geoffrey Chew was born in Phoenix, AZ in 1978, and again in 1980. After a five year stay in this most effective of dehydrators, he moved with his parents to the town of Boulder, CO. Thus began seven years of following the herds of wild migratory college students endemic to that particular region. (Which, along with a noted nationwide "Mexican" fast food establishment, were the primary source of subsistence for his family.)

After many perigrinations, the artist brought his family to sunny Southern California. Ere that, home was on the big island of Hawaii, whence he fled in 2000. He admits nothing of the exigencies of life on the mainland. In Hawaii, he spent his time creating, reading, wishing the rain would stop, (or start, if it hadn't already), and praying for lightning...not much rain, or lightning, in Southern California, so there's more time to be creative.

At long last, his homeland beckoned, and the family returned to Arizona, at this point augmented by young Banyan [at right]. After a stint in the Army, he is now back home...once again in Southern California, and has several new web presences:
