FADE IN:

AT RISE: Sketch speaks.

Sketch:
I can't move. Feels like a boulder sitting on my legs.

David:
I know. How's your arm? Can you tell if you're bleeding anywhere?

Sketch:
How should I know? I can't feel it any more. I can't feel anything! I can't ...!!

David:
Take it easy bud. Someone will find us. We just gotta hang tight for a while. Now hold still. I can't see a damn thing.

Sketch:
I'm scared, man. I just...

David:
Yeah, I know. Me too buddy.

Sketch:
What do you think happened to the rest of the guys?

David:
I don't know. I heard the rumble and grabbed your jacket. Next thing I know everything is all white and swirly. I think I heard Martin yell "avalanche" but I'm not sure. There. Can you move your legs now? My hands are frozen and I can't dig any more.

Sketch:
I can't feel my feet, but everything else works, I think.

David:
Good.. Curl up and keep your arm on your chest. Try not to move it because I am pretty sure it's busted.

Sketch:
Wait! Do you hear something?
