About Frames

Frames are relatively new to the World Wide Web, and while they can be extremely useful in providing a constant set of links on a page, they can also be annoying if inproperly coded. The most common error is to have a link open a new window each time it is clicked, which is extremely annoying. :)

The Student Showcase uses frames only judiciously, and offers a "Site Map". This page contains all of the links in the Showcase, but in a non-frame format.
If you prefer not to use frames, or your browser is unable to understand the frame language, you will automatically be presented with a link to the no-frames version of the Showcase, or you may click the link on the Help Index.

For the rest of you, read on. :)

The Showcase contains a frame which offers relevant links to the rest of the site. With only one exception, each link will display its page in the main frame. The only time a new window will open is when viewing the students submissions. These new windows will display the assignment without interference from other frames.
You are invited to click on the original window to select a new name to view. The new selection will appear in the second window.

Under no circumstances will more than two windows be opened at any time. Hopefully, this will make navigation as easy and straightforward as possible.

If you have questions or difficulty, you are cordially invited to send e-mail to the link below.
