If you don't read this book you won't know just what you are missing.

Mortianna the queen of the witches is in morning and wants revenge on the
vampire Sinjinn whom she holds responsible for the death of her daughter
Bliss. Though Sinjinn isn't actually the one who killed Bliss he is the one
who turned her into a revenant and gave her immortality via the vampires kiss.
For this reason Moritanna hates Damien St. James aka Sinjinn.

Mortianna invites her son Quinn, the same son she didn't want as a baby
to come visit, in order to ask for his help to bring down Sinjinn. Though
because he practices the art of wicca and doesn't believe in killing her
refuses. Mortianna in the meantime has had her minions (minor demons) kidnap
Sinjinn. Well at least that is who they thought they had gotten.

Turns out they took the wrong person, a person not even of the same sex as
Sinjinn. They brought back a female by the name of Maeve. Maeve is a revenant
that was staying or being kept (depending on whose point of view you look at)
at Sinjinns. When Mortianna finds out the minions made a mistake she orders
them to kill Maeve.

Here is where the real adventure begins. Because of his beliefs Quinn
can't let his mother kill Maeve. He rescues her and begins on the journey to
take her back to Sinjinn.

What Quinn didn't expect was to fall for Maeve, but Maeve is on a mission
of her own and doesn't have time for men. So why is she feeling things for
Quinn? Things she thought long dead with the death of her twin.

Will Maeve's quest for revenge on the elder that killed her sister cause
more problems? What plans does Mortianna have in store for her son, the
betrayer? Will Mortianna succeed in her plans to destroy Sinjinn and if she
does who else will also have to pay the price? What of the developing feelings
between Maeve and Quinn, will they have a future or will Maeves quest for
revenge destroy that possiblitiy? There is a lot more action then what this
review is saying. Mostly because I don't want to give away the story, but it
is one that you won't want to miss.

I enjoyed the sexual tension and eroticism of Maeve and Quinn's relationship
as it grew, definitely a very steamy and tenuous relationship that is well worth
reading about.
