That is until Lauren's mother broke the pact. When that happened, 
Angeline a fourth cousin bound Syntian to her. Now although Syntian is in 
love with Lauren and still tied to her. He is must obey Angeline's every 
command, and what she is commanding his services whenever she chooses. How can 
Syntian have a life and future with Lauren bound to Angeline? What happens 
when Lauren finds out what is really going on? What will she do? Will the 
future Syntian had planned for them be over?
