| With President Bush at a 32% approval rating and Congress just a tad higher at 35%, Tim Cox has written a book entitled Get Out of Our House: Revolution!. He believes that our once great nation is crumbling under the eight-year rule of a president who has started a doomed war and a congress unable to curtail him. It must be stopped. Cox urges us to band together and rebel by selecting our own representatives and excluding any politician or lawyer from holding office.
One thing this reviewer can say is that Mr. Cox, with his long list of questions, has chutzpah. Unfortunately, since I can’t answer "yes" to all of his questions, I guess I won’t be rebelling. While I tend to agree that the country is in trouble and cannot come up with a viable plan unless the typical apathetic American gets off his or her tailbone, Mr. Cox’s grand plan won’t amount to a hill of beans. I guess that the November 2008 election will prove one of us to be right. Good luck, Mr. Cox. | | |
