| Wow! A great collection of fun abc stories to be shared by children everywhere. Mary Ellen Goble Preece has started a new trend with the old favorite, the ABCs, by using unique rhyming names with colorful pictures. The rhythmical plot moved along smoothly while the alphabet characters lived each story with great enjoyment. Each narrative had its own special personality. Even the front cover was very pictorial, to catch the eye of the reader. That gave the presentation more attitude. The series of events in the book are commendable as a great learning tool in primary school libraries for all primary student bodies.
So let the mind wander back to those happy school days with game time, education in the classrooms, great summer days, and grandma's cozy kitchen in the morning with family and friends. All the wonderful striking images were made possible by the marvelous work of Mrs. Preece. She made The ABC Cousins and Fun from A to Z fun learning lessons by way of excellent word power. Watch as those happy little characters build, link, draw, outline, and present to you the inner workings through words with continuous busy minds. Those remarkable characters, as a family, are here to satisfy and shape your child's world into a happier place to explore and find new-fashioned treasures. I liked the special page in the back of the book. Children can actually mark in that section. A well-deserved 5 star work of art and A prime memento! | | |
