| A very steamy love/hate romance. Adam Omega didn't believe in vampires. He thought them just a myth. Until one day something strange happened to open his eyes to darkness.
This modern day vampire tale is more than just a story. It delves into the mind of the reader and causes an adrenaline rush, and the emotions jump from one extreme to the other in a matter of minutes. The reader might be mad one minute, then overjoyed with the characters the next.
Adam started out as a priest with a warm heart. Then he met Eyanna and fell madly in love with her, left the church, and made her his wife. But some of the townspeople began to talk and accused her of being a witch because of her dealings with potions and herbs.
One day Eyanna made a potion with her blood and soaked an amber ring in it. Then she asked Adam to make her a promise to never take the ring off once it was placed on his wedding finger. Will he keep Eyanna's promise?
As the story develops, Adam's character demands more concentration from the passion point of view. F. D. Davis has spun a dark suspenseful novel. In the Beginning was uniquely written and has left a lingering memory on this reader. Adam was truly a man that a woman would never forget. | | |
