| Kiernan Fyn, definitely a sharp looking alien, was without transportation for a long time and all alone on the celestial body of Kikk, which was nestled faraway in another galaxy. Then Sara Donovan, our heroine, who also happened to be an Air Force pilot who didn't fear anyone or anything, made a crash landing there in her ship. Fyn, after he noticed blood on Sara's head, pulled her from the wreckage and carried her back to his cave, where he watched over her until she felt well enough to get her ship in working order.
Sara Donovan possessed some secrets. She was also a very brave woman. But what she had to go through in this great novel kept this reader on the edge of the seat from beginning to end. However that did cause Sara's character to be more heroic and more likable. Fyn had secrets too. He was led by a mysterious Ojemba band. The planet of Kikk held buried secrets. Who or what made up the key? And how will it be put to use? Marvelous suspense! S-l-o-w-l-y the secrets unfold one by one as a mysterious city is uncovered. Will Fyn and Sara be captured, or worse? Great plot! Superb workmanship on the characters! So sit back and take the ride of your life. This was by far the best Sci Fi novel in a long time. Pauline Baird Jones, a marvelous creator of some remarkable characters, put a new twist on a great Sci Fi story, The Key. | | |
