| The Sinclairs have shaped their habitation in the Am Binnean Castle since the fourteenth century. They were the descendants of William the Conqueror from England. Through matrimony, this helped to shape their relations with the Sutherlands. Most of the male Sinclairs pursued military activity, and many lost their lives in battles in attempts to retake the crown to keep their lands from being taken. The present duke, David Sinclair, and his wife, Janet, remain in Am Binnean Castle.
After reading an interview about Mrs. Sinclair, who lived in Am Binnean Castle, Ayda Rogers decided to write her a letter. Ayda didn't think she would even receive a reply; but upon receiving an invitation, she was soon on her way to that same castle to do a thesis on the famous paintings that had been hanging there for centuries. Each unique painting told its own story in history, and she wanted to find out all she could about them. Upon her arrival at Am Binnean Castle, Ayda's eyes fell upon the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. She soon realized she was going to have a rough time keeping her mind on the task at hand, that was listening to the stories the old woman, Mrs. Sinclair, was about to enlighten her with. One story Ayda found hard to believe, until one day an accident occurred in the library, and Hunter, who was Mrs. Sinclair's grandson, happened along just in time. Passion flared between the two after that. While her thesis on the paintings proceeded, the romance between Hunter Sinclair and Ayda blossomed. Will it last?
