| The Battle of Manassas
Sean Nolan lay wounded in a makeshift field hospital. He was thirsty, burning up with fever, and there wasn't any water. His thoughts were that he was left all alone, forgotten and left to die. Maybe this was best, he thought; for he feared losing his leg. He'd heard screams coming from the other wounded soldiers, and not many survived the surgery under these conditions. Sean did however have one regret; no it was not the regret of leaving family behind or not being able to go home again, because he had no family left. His mother had passed away, and he had done the best he could by her, seeing that she was cared for. The extra money he had made when he enlisted saw to that. His only regret was that he had come into manhood and never had had the chance to be with a woman. Sean regretted dying a virgin! His one prayer was to experience the pleasure of a woman before he died. To escape his pain he drifted off to sleep... Present Day Manassas Eleanor Randall (Nell), teaching assistant working towards her doctorate, loved history. She was especially interested in the second Battle Of Manassas. But today it was so hot outside that it was hard to concentrate on writing the article. She knew as she sat in front of her computer that she wasn't going to get anything done. She was just going to close her eyes for a while... Treva Harte is an excellent writer. The Seduction of Sean Nolan was a book I read in one sitting, then went back and read it again. No dull characters here. This e-book is rated NC-17; I look forward to more from Ms Harte. | |||
