Price: $29.95 | Visual Verse is a unique "coffee table" book that is for everyone. John Parkinson’s photography, combined with his and others’ verses, will leave us awe-inspired as we breathe in the "life" so evident in his photos. As a fellow photographer, I can appreciate the time and emotion spent over the pictures that are within the pages of this book, although calling them "pictures" doesn’t begin to do them justice. They are just as much poems as the "poetry" quoted.
I can especially admire Mr. Parkinson’s use of time lapse photography and the absolutely marvelous light captured in the majority of his photos. They leap out of the page at the reader. They say that we should "stop and smell the roses". I would suggest that you, the reader, stop and look at the "pictures". It will be well worth your time.
