| A moving story that deals with both poverty and riches. The sudden descent to one and the achievement of the other.
Sam's journey began when he was born into poverty. This, plus other sad moments in his life. did not deter him. After losing both parents, he shows, through his struggles and hard work, his ability to rise above the poverty level and gain wealth by reaching out and grasping the golden ring of good fortune with both hands. Even though he was saddened and felt all alone, he used his ingenuity through his studies, plus every available moment he could, to seek out and learn about the different religions and philosophies of life.
Sam's journey through life had many stopping points along the way. One was after reaching manhood, when he met, fell in love, and married Serena. Then just as suddenly, he lost her again. While he buried himself in his work, he had, not realizing, neglected her. One evening, after working late, he came home and found a note from her. The one true thing which he loved most was gone from his life. This made Sam feel empty inside. Would he gain her love back?
Still pressing onward down the weary pathway of life, Sam gained more wealth. The more he made, the more he spent. As Sam's journey continued, he found a good friend in Rosalie. Would their friendship blossom into love, or would the two just remain friends?
Sohrab ChamanAra, with A Journey To The Truth, brought Sam through his long journey and shows the reader his failures and accomplishments while traveling down life's long rugged road. | | |
