| The book House of Shapes asks several questions. such as, "What shapes are missing from the house?" "What color is each shape that is missing?" It makes for great reading and a great puzzle or problem solver for children. It is also great for eye contact.
Not only will the House of Shapes book help children with shapes, it will also help with color and size. The book is very descriptive when describing how the house looks with all the many shapes and colors. Children will love browsing through this book. Their minds will be able to imagine a house with different windows and doors and learn what each shape is and how to use each shape, too. Children will have to look closely at each page in order to figure out what is missing from the house.
The author, Sarah V. Richard, came up with a very good concept for children to think about and try to figure out on their own. Parents will love reading this book right along with the children. House of Shapes is well deserving of 5 stars. Great work, Sarah V. Richard. | | |
