| Clint Graybull is sent on a secret mission to look into the reason why a W. W. II gunnery range was abandoned.
Once Clint arrives at the site, he tries to clean up the mess someone has left behind. While there he manages to get into more trouble than he bargained for. After leaving one woman behind, he finds another one and begins dating her. Then her daughter tries to sleep with him, and that leads to more problems.
One good point I found in the story Circles In The Sand was that once I delved deeper, there was a small mystery hidden among all those words. In one part of the book, Clint's jeep gets stolen; then a murder was committed, and the victim is found in Clint's jeep with a gaping hole in his back. That leaves Graybull the number one suspect, because his missing rifle could be the murder weapon. Will he be found innocent or will someone try to do him in? DAV Allen deserves three stars for this one. | | |
