Examples of how couples work together, were explained in full detail all through the book. Also, some good points that needed to be brought out are the summary points and self-assessment questions at the end of each chapter. Also, taking advantage of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly interactions, discussed in chapter three, was wonderfully brought out.
One comment that is well worth remembering is at the bottom of page 92 -- "Life does not lead you; you lead your life."
Great mental images were also developed throughout the book. One example in particular stood out more than the others. The author explained in detail why he and his wife rolled down the car windows and screamed at the top of their lungs. Read the book to find out what he said.
The book was not boring. Interest was piqued from the first page to the last. | | |
