Price: $9.00 | Mama Liked Blue is a story that has needed writing for a long time. It tells of the problems that children of mixed race face on a daily basis. The story shows the feelings of a child, as well as loving grandparents, who has to deal with racism, prejudice, and bullies.
The characters are very well developed. They are colorful, humorous, and wonderfully alive.
The plot was well thought out and written so a child can read the story without difficulties. The adult, reading to a child, will enjoy reading the story also.
On a personal note, I love the story. Plain and simple, it tells a story of a child that has to deal with mixed race parents. I feel that this story should have been written years ago. It is a wonderfully written story that I could go back and read again and again to my grandchildren.
I give Mama Liked Blue 5 stars and a big thumbs up!!!
