| The Princess and the Pekinese is an adorable picture book for children and animal lovers of all ages. I was just checking the PDF file to make sure it was readable, and I could not stop until I had finished. The Princess of the title is happy until a puppy joins the family. Then an incident at a party causes her to run away from home. The story is one of self-perception and -appreciation.
The story is wonderfully illustrated by artist Paul Lopez. This is a great book to be read to small children and for older animal lovers to read. It would also make a great gift. | |||
