All his life Coppola, Leader of the United Council for
Developing
Worlds, has been paranoid about his enemies and makes sure to eliminate
them before they become a threat. His current concern is Leumas who
wants to reform the First Contact process. With Leumas beginning to
gain a following, Coppola decides to destroy his latest opponent and
foster his plan for dictatorial domination.

Leumas is assigned to develop the Earth as a partner. The project is
a shocker because Leumas never heard of the planet. He soon learns that
contact occurred in 1936 Earth time. Agents of Coppola used Eva Braun
to help Hitler, but they misjudged the maniac and regretfully millions
died because of that error. Coppola left two agents behind to clean up
the mess before the council learns about the earth debacle. However,
the two agents vanished, married Americans, and sired a child each. In
1992 they both die, but a decade later Leumas trains their children,
Greg and Sarah, in order to stop a dangerous megalomaniac from
succeeding in a quest to totally control the Council.

GET OUT OF MY MIND is an exciting, offbeat science fiction thriller
that centers on the offsprings of earth females and aliens struggling to
learn a different way of life. In many ways, this futuristic tale is
actually a powerful political thriller as the stagnant council
noncommittally debates two distinct paths each led by a charismatic
leader. In his debut as a novelist, Tony Ruggiero has written an
exciting plot with strong characters that genre fans will devour and
will demand more Council visits to other worlds.
