Book Title: Graven Image

This book is the sequel to Grave Images. Kris, Gil, Nick and Andy have arranged a gallery showing of the pictures Jarron has painted of the ghosts he has encountered. They are hoping that Jarron will learn to cope with his psychic abilities and be able to lead a normal life. Nick has lured Jarron to a museum next to the gallery in hopes of convincing Jarron that showing his paintings will help him to accept his new abilities.

Jarron flees into the museum and is followed by Nick. A one thousand year old mummy of a norseman is on display along with other artifacts from the mummies burial site. The anger, hate and regret imbued in the spirits of the norseman, his wife and his sacrificed friend are magnified by Jarron's psychic abilities and Nick is drawn into the drama. Nick who has been possessed by the norseman's spirit tries to kill Jarron with a ceremonial knife found within the display. Kris and Andy manage to free Jarron and send him to the hospital. Nick is wounded by an ISO member while fleeing the museum. Nick, while still possessed, is horrified at sacrificing his friend again. His horror and regret lead to his trying to end it all in a viking funeral pyre. Kris, Andy and Alys-Erin Gunter manage to save Nick and get him to the hospital.

Jarron had been working 70-hour weeks on the endophyte he has discovered, now he is in the hospital fighting for his life. Who blew up Jarron's lab and stole the endophyte while he is in the hospital. Are the villains after Jarron for his psychic abilities now?

Is the ISO involved in the endophyte theft? Who has decided Jarron is no longer useful?

How are Kris, Gil, Andy and Alys going to protect Jarron and Nick? How are they going to keep Nick and Jarron from killing each other while possessed by ghosts from the ancient past?

This story is even more intricate than the original with lots of action and suspense. I love the characters and the emphasis on strong friendships. Kris now has Gil as his life-partner and Nick finds his life-mate in Alys. There is even romance in the story, lots of psychic events and a thoroughly satisfying ending
