
Contest Rules, 1999
- No entry fee.
- One entry per person.
- No entry longer than 50 lines.
- Entry may be a single poem or several short poems under a single title, but the total length may not be more than 50 lines. No haphazard selections of two or three unrelated poems; if there is more than one poem in the entry, they must all be part of a related series.
- All entries must be submitted by e-mail. No snailmail or faxed entries accepted.
- Contest opens at 12:01am October 1, 1999 EDT. No entries will be accepted before that date and time.
- Contest closes at 12:00 midnight October 31, 1999 EST. No entries will be accepted after that date and time.
- Decisions of the judge will be final.
- Grand prize is a copy of Robert Allen's book, Simple Annals.
- Runners up receive Certificates of Honorable Mention. Winner and runners up are permanently posted in the WorldCrafters' Guild Winners Circle.
- E-mail entries to contests@simegen.com.
- Entry in the contest constitutes agreement with these rules and permission for the poetry entered to be posted on simegen.com for the duration of the contest, including the time between the end of the entry period and the announcement of the winners.
- Each poem posted will bear the author's copyright. Poetry remains the property of the author.
