Steve Gitre has been a voracious reader for most of his fifty-eight years.  It was only recently that he's tried his hand at writing.  Steve loves a good mystery and he has written two yet-to-be-published novels.  Several of his how-to articles on starting a small business and raising an herb garden have been published in magazines.  He has worked for a small town newspaper as a reporter and also as a library assistant.  His current occupation as a meteorological technician keeps him busy, but his love for the written word is deeply embedded in him. 

Steve has been married for thirty-five years, has five children and four grandchildren.  He and his wife love to travel and they plan on taking a trip to Ireland in the fall.  After having owned five different businesses, including a bakery and a book store, Steve and his wife, Sue, are ready to relax.  Steve loves to play chess on the Internet and that, plus his growing family, keeps him out of trouble.  His work at Simegen will take him to many unknown worlds, but he is ready and willing for the challenge.
