Jesse F. Knight has been writing for more than 40 years, ever since he faked being sick in the 5th grade, so he could stay home to write a science fiction story titled The Asteroid Adventure, the hero of whom bore a remarkable resemblance to himself.
His short stories, plays, reviews, and articles have appeared in hundreds of national and international publications. He is a devoted advocate not only the short story form but historical fiction as well. His historical fiction, articles and reviews have appeared everywhere from Gothic Journal and Of Ages Past to The Reticle and Arts to such anthologies as Midnight Never Comes and Twilight Antiquities. His drama Music Enough For a Lifetime, a musical biography of Rachmaninoff, is currently in production, and he recently completed a screenplay dealing with 17th century France.
