Biography

I'm Gina and I just (Feb 2001) volunteered to take over the Contests section at Sime~Gen. If you have any idea's for contests that you would like for your area, please feel free to contact me. I am willing to work with you or to handle the whole contest for you. I'm always going to be looking for ideas and suggestions, so please don't hesitate to send them to me. Currently I am working on an outline for contests, sponsors and prizes, that I will be submitting to Jean and Jacqueline by the end of this week. I hope to have the first contest up and running by May or June. I'm thinking of monthly, quarterly and yearly contests. But, that has not yet been cleared with Jean and Jacqueline.

For those of you who would like to learn a little bit about me personally, read on.

I'm 39 years old and live in CT. I'm married with 3 children, ranging in age from 18 to 7. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The cats are just regular old house cats (Ashley and Simba). The dogs are a Spaniel Mix named Scruffy and an itty bitty, teeny weeny, cutie patooty Rat Terrier puppy named Venus. (Can you tell which is my favorite pet?) I'm an aspiring romance novelist and also love reading romance novels. As a matter of fact, I will also be reviewing novels on Sime~Gen. Some of my hobbies include traveling to NYC to see Broadway shows (or just seeing them locally), crafts, building webpages and making graphics, surfing the web, reading and writing (obviously) and Native American (North East Woodland in particular) history.
